Conclusion

With experience the proper standardization and criteria for use of the various types of stent grafts will become clear and the choice of which stent graft to employ will become easier to make. Endovascular surgery can undoubtedly be carried into the repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms with the proper guidance and clarification. Ideally, endovascular stent grafts will have broader applicability as surgeons increase their familiarity with the various device types and gain hands-on knowledge deploying them. Although we have yet to overcome all the anatomical limitations imposed by current devices, the future of endovascular technology and its dissemination offers promise in minimizing its restrictions.
