Abstract
By means of a servocontrolled force plate, pseudorandom acceleration disturbances were imposed upon a standing subject. By measuring and processing the responses of a subject, we computed the frequency-response functions of the posture-control system. The experimental results are discussed from a viewpoint of control engineering.
