Contents
Short-term load forecasting is an important instrument for scheduling and optimizing the use of different power-stations. This article describes forecasting-models and forecasting-methods, as the Least-squares method, adaptive methods and the Karhunen-Loève-expansion. The accuracy of the forecasts using these methods is compared.
