Abstract
A series of metallo-β-CD complexes were prepared and formulated as [M2(OH)2 β-CD·2 H2O]n−. Changes in the FT-IR and Raman Spectra ofβ-CD on coordination may be taken as evidence for complexation and support for a hydroxy bridged binuclear structure. Further support was obtained from uv/visible and magnetic moment measurements.
