Conclusions
-
1.
Oxygen, at certain ratios of alloying elements in titanium and its alloys, increases the strength, and the ductility remains satisfactory; interstitial solid solutions and suboxides increase the corrosion resistance.
-
2.
Titanium and its alloys can be alloyed with oxygen.
