Abstract
A detailed analysis is reported of charged particle motion in the e.m. fields generated by oblique magnetic rotators. A full treatment of particle trajectories, radiated power and spectrum is given; astrophysical implications of these results in connection with pulsars, mainly NP 0532, are discussed and the possibility of a high energy pulsed radiation model with synchro-Compton emission at the speed-of-light cylinder is investigated.
