Abstract
I shall call a theory of the functor ‘qua’ a ‘qua-theory’. This functor is used in expressions like ‘A qua B is C’. Some synonymous expressions are ‘as’, ‘insofar as’, ‘in virtue of’, ‘with respect to’.
