Abstract
Geology, geomorphology, physiography, climate, and soils of the Brahmaputra basin exhibit marked variations. An understanding of these variations is vital for the development of the basin. This chapter presents a short treatment of different aspects of fluvial geomorphology of the Brahmaputra River basin.
