Zusammenfassung
Unternehmen betreiben Geschäfte, um ihre Ziele zu erreichen. Sie entwickeln Produkte und Dienstleistungen, sie erschließen Märkte, produzieren, suchen sich Geschäftspartner aus, machen Angebote, verkaufen – und das alles unter der ständigen Bedrohung, dass andere Unternehmen, die sich ähnlich (oder auch ganz anders) verhalten, erfolgreicher sind bei ihrem Werben um ihre Geschäftspartner, so dass diese sich ihnen zuwenden. Dieses Spiel, das wir Wettbewerb nennen, eröffnet natürlich auch Chancen – Möglichkeiten, mit neuen Geschäftspartnern zu Abschlüssen zu kommen, die früher mit anderen Unternehmen Geschäfte getätigt haben. Wenn ein Unternehmen mit einem anderen wiederholt über einen Zeitraum hinweg Geschäfte tätigt, so sprechen wir üblicherweise von einer „Geschäftsbeziehung”.
