Zusammenfassung
Interne Kommunikation als Forschungs- und Praxisfeld macht Karriere. Jedoch ist der Erfolg interner Kommunikationsabläufe an zahlreiche Voraussetzungen gebunden. Der Beitrag behandelt die unterschiedlichen theoretischen Perspektiven und Zugänge, vor allem aus der Management- und Organisationslehre sowie der Public Relations, und analysiert rezipienten- und mitarbeiterzentrierte Ansätze. Das Praxisfeld interne Kommunikation wird strukturiert vor dem Hintergrund, wie in der Wahrnehmung der Mitarbeiter aus Informationen sinnstiftende Orientierungen werden. Entscheidend ist die Einbindung in leistungsfähige Kommunikationsnetze. Der persönlichen Kommunikation und dem Verhalten der Manager als Kommunikatoren kommt hierbei eine zentrale Rolle zu. Je intensiver die Kommunikation in den Unternehmen über Netzwerke abläuft und je weniger steuerbar sie wird, desto wichtiger wird Führung durch Kommunikation.
