Bei der Beurteilung von Aussagen können sich verschiedene psychologische Fragen stellen:

Aussagetüchtigkeit : Es kann die Fähigkeit einer Person, zu einem bestimmten Sachverhalt überhaupt eine angemessene Aussage zu machen, in Frage stehen.

laubhaftigkeit der Aussage kann zur Debatte stehen, ob ein Erlebnis an sich oder in der behaupteten Form stattgefunden hat.

sagegenauigkeit d schließlich kann in Fällen, in denen das relevante Ereignis zweifelsfrei stattgefunden hat, die Genauigkeit der Aussage über das Geschehen fraglich sein.
