Zusammenfassung
Die Makrotetrolide Nonactin und seine Homologen bilden eine Gruppe von cyclischen Estern hoher biologischer Wirksamkeit, die bisher ausschließlich in Kulturen von Actinomycetenstämmen nachgewiesen wurden. Innerhalb der Actinomyceten, insbesondere der Gattung Streptomyces, scheinen diese Verbindungen ziemlich verbreitet zu sein. Unsere eigenen Untersuchungen haben zur Auffindung von über 20 Makrotetrolide produzierenden Stämmen geführt und in verschiedenen anderen Laboratorien sind Stoffwechselprodukte isoliert worden, die sich als Nonactin oder Gemische von Nonactin mit seinen Homologen erwiesen. So konnten die Antibiotica Werramycin (30), SQ 15859 (7), N-329 A (22), Fluorin (5) und Lustericin (28) durch direkten Vergleich mit Nonactin oder Makro-tetrolidgemischen identifiziert werden. Von anderen in der Literatur beschriebenen Verbindungen aus Actinomyceten, die für einen Vergleich nicht erhältlich waren, wie etwa dem Longisporin (18), kann eine Identität oder nahe Verwandtschaft mit Nonactin aus den Eigenschaften angenommen werden.
