Abstract
Enterprises around the world recognize that the Internet has enabled a new economic era — the networked economy (Oracle Corporation, 1998). This has considerable implications on the business environment. To remain competitive, business and technology strategics have to be re-defined. It is therefore not surprising that with the rapid development of Internet technologies and its applications, E-commerce, which bases mainly on the Internet, has changed the ways business is done globally. While E-commerce is a hot topic, its definition can be different in literature. In this paper, E-commerce is defined as the use of computer networks to conduct business electronically between the buyers and the sellers. Internet commerce is considered as a kind of E-commerce.
