Zusammenfassung
Endokrine Drüsen und Gewebe übernehmen die hormonelle Steuerung im Gastrointestinaltrakt. Die Säuresekretion durch die Belegzellen des Magens erfolgt durch Protonenpumpen vom Typ der H+-K+-ATPasen im Konzert mit cytosolischer Carboanhydrase, membranständigen K+-Kanälen und Cl–-Kanälen sowie Aquaporinen. Acetylcholin, Gastrin und Histamin regen Belegzellen zur Säuresekretion an. Der wichtigste Antagonist ist Somatostatin; auch PGE2 und Sekretin hemmen die Säuresekretion.
