Zusammenfassung
Digitale Medien halten großes Potenzial zur Unterstützung mathematischer Lehr- und Lernprozesse bereit. Dabei eignen sich insbesondere Tablets für den Einsatz und die Nutzung durch junge Kinder. Der Komplexität des Einsatzes und der Nutzung im Mathematikunterricht wird mit Hilfe der Artefact- Centric Activity Theory begegnet. Auf dieser theoretischen Grundlage werden im folgenden Beitrag zwei Forschungsprojekte vorgestellt. Das eine befasst sich mit dem Aufb au von Zahlkonzepten und damit wie die Entwicklung eines kardinalen Zahlkonzepts durch den Einsatz der multitouch-Technologie unterstützt werden kann. Das andere Projekt widmet sich dem verständnisvollen Umgang mit Zahlen und der Verknüpfung der beiden Prinzipien des Bündelns und des Stellenwerts. Bei beiden Projekten werden insbesondere Handlungen mit virtuellen und physischen Materialien in den Blick genommen.
