Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel betrachtet die Innovation sozialer Dienstleistungen in Verbindung mit neuen Technologien und hier vor allem Informations- und Assistenztechnologien. In der Analyse von Innovationsprozessen sind insbesondere zwei Aspekte der Technisierung von Interesse: die Einführung neuer Technologien an sich, sowie die Konsequenzen der Technisierung auf das Dienstleistungshandeln. Technologische Innovation in sozialen Dienstleistungen und die mit ihr verbunden Ambivalenzen zeigen sich besonders prononciert in sog. Assistenz-Technologien (Augusto et al. 2012). An ihnen lässt sich entsprechend gut zeigen, wie technische Unterstützung eine Dienstleistung verändert und in welchem Zusammenhang Technik, Dienstleistungshandeln und Dienstleistungsprodukt stehen.
