Zusammenfassung
Industrie 4.0 verändert mit der Vernetzung von Produktionstechnologien und ITWelt die Spielregeln. An Stelle proprietärer Schnittstellen treten offene Standards, mit denen Maschinenhersteller neueste IT-Technologien eigenständig in ihre Konzepte einbinden. Der vorliegende Beitrag zeigt auf, wie diese Entwicklung mit Hilfe von Open Core Engineering unterstützt werden kann. Open Core Engineering steht für das komplette Engineering-Angebot von Rexroth, das die bislang getrennten SPS- und IT-Welten in einer durchgängigen Lösung verbindet und das 2013 mit dem HERMES AWARD ausgezeichnet wurde. Es bietet Maschinenherstellern neue Freiheiten, innovative Ideen in Software selbst umzusetzen.
