Zusammenfassung
Die Konzeptionslehre als Teil des Kommunikationsmanagements befasst sich mit der systematischen Entwicklung von Kommunikationskonzepten für Unternehmen. Als „Erfolgslehre“ stellt sie den Versuch dar, eine wesentliche Kompetenz von Kommunikationsexperten zu systematisieren und damit erlernbar zu machen. Der Beitrag gibt einen kritischen Überblick über den derzeitigen Stand. Er versucht darüber hinaus, den kleinsten gemeinsamen Nenner zu fassen sowie die Konzeptionslehre im Gesamtgebäude von Unternehmenskommunikation und strategischer Kommunikation zu verorten. Der Beitrag warnt Kommunikationsexperten abschließend davor, ihre originäre Kompetenz – eine bessere Botschaft zu formulieren, ein besseres Thema zu finden – zu vernachlässigen.
