Zusammenfassung
Social-Media-Influencer wie Bibi, Pamela Reif oder Rezo haben sich zu relevanten Stakeholdern der strategischen Kommunikation entwickelt. Sie können das Erreichen von Unternehmenszielen auf verschiedenen Wegen beeinflussen oder selbst von Unternehmenshandlungen und -zielen beeinflusst werden. Im Rahmen der strategischen Kommunikation übernehmen Social-Media-Influencer unterschiedliche Funktionen für Unternehmen. Dieser Beitrag bestimmt Social-Media-Influencer anhand ihrer Funktionen und grenzt sie von funktionsäquivalenten Akteuren ab. Auf dieser Basis definiert er strategische Social-Media-Influencer-Kommunikation als den gezielten Einsatz von Kommunikationsaktivitäten durch Unternehmen oder Social-Media-Influencer, in deren Rahmen Social-Media-Influencer Aktivitäten mit strategischer Signifikanz für Unternehmensziele ausführen und/oder durch strategische Kommunikationsaktivitäten der Unternehmen adressiert werden. Abschließend diskutiert der Beitrag Herausforderungen der strategischen Social-Media-Influencer-Kommunikation.
