Zusammenfassung
Die anbieterseitige Erzeugung eines Werts für den Kunden sowie die übertragung dieses Werts auf den Kunden ist seit jeher ein zentraler Aspekt in der Marketingforschung und Marketingpraxis. Konzepte wie die Wertschöpfungskette von Porter (1985) oder auch der Wertshop und das Wertnetz von Stabell/Fjeldstad (1998) befassen sich mit der werterzeugenden Erstellung von Produkten und Dienstleistungen, die dann an den Kunden übergeben werden. Dieser Sichtweise zufolge haben Produkte und Dienstleistungen bereits einen Wert, den der Anbieter in seinen Produktionsprozessen erzeugt. Im Anschluss an die Erstellung dieser vermeintlich bereits werthaltigen Produkte und Dienstleistungen befasst sich das Marketing weiter mit deren gezielter Vermarktung mithilfe einer angepassten Ausgestaltung der verschiedenen Marketinginstrumente.
