Zusammenfassung
Gemeinsam ist den Versuchen, problematischen Gewohnheiten therapeutisch beizukommen, daß sie nach anfänglichen Erfolgen eine hohe Rückfallquote aufweisen. Die meisten Rückfälle finden beim Rauchen, aber auch beim Übergewicht, erfahrungsgemäß zwar innerhalb der ersten 4 Monate statt, es sollten aber Nachkontrollen von mindestens 2 Jahren vorliegen. Als Problem bei langfristigen Nachkontrollen erweist sich ein geringer Rücklauf. Im allgemeinen darf für Raucher, Alkoholiker und übergewichtige Personen angenommen werden, daß Nichtantworter als Mißerfolge einzustufen sind (vgl. Wagner et al. 1983).
