Abstract
Although the heated debates about the “best” way of developing personality inventories have largely disappeared from the journals, the issue has continued to hold sufficient interest to be investigated empirically. During the past 2 decades more than a dozen comparative studies have been published. The present chapter attempts to summarize them in a concise manner.
