Zusammenfassung
Gesundheit und Krankheit sind das Resultat der dynamischen Wechselwirkungen von Beanspruchungs- und Erholungsprozessen. Aktuell erleben viele Menschen eine Imbalance zwischen ihrer Beanspruchung durch Arbeit und ihrer Erholung. Dies könnte eine Folge der sich verändernden Arbeitswelt sein. Um diese Annahme zu überprüfen, werden verschiedene Änderungen in der Arbeitswelt bezüglich ihrer Auswirkungen auf die Belastungen und daraus resultierenden Beanspruchungs- und Erholungsprozessen betrachtet. Es wird gezeigt, dass der Erholung ein eigenständiger diagnostischer Wert für die Beurteilung von Arbeitsbelastungen zukommt. So sind Arbeitsbelastungen nicht tolerierbar, die über die eigentliche Arbeitszeit hinaus in der Freizeit und während der Nachtruhe die Erholung beeinträchtigen.
