Zusammenfassung
Organisationen lassen sich als soziale Systeme betrachten, die wiederum aus miteinander verzahnten Subsystemen bestehen ( 7 kap. 4 ). Solche Subsysteme werden gewöhnlich als Gruppen oder Teams bezeichnet, wobei sich die beiden Begriffe inhaltlich kaum unterscheiden lassen. Die Zusammenarbeit in Gruppen bildet gewissermaßen den »Normalfall« des Verhaltens in Organisationen. Gruppen- bzw. Teamarbeit wurde bislang bevorzugt in der Arbeitspsychologie am Beispiel der Arbeit in der Produktion untersucht ( 7 kap. 23 ). Daneben findet sich auch in der Verwaltung, im Management und in anderen Bereichen zunehmend Gruppenarbeit. Hier existieren Entscheidungsgruppen, zu denen alle formalen Gremien zählen, Projekt- und Entwicklungsgruppen, aber auch Arbeitsgruppen, die z. B. gemeinsam Dienstleistungen erbringen.
