Abstract
This article is a compilation of analyses, publications, presentations and panel discussions on current trends in travel technology. The text is largely based on the convention documentation from the TRAVDEX@ITB congress, held on 9–10 March 2006 in conjunction with the leading international consulting firm for travel technology, PhoCusWright Inc., during the International Tourism Exchang ITB Berlin1. In addition, studies and publications from PhoCusWright Inc. have been integrated2.
