Zusammenfassung
Values in Design bezeichnet ein Forschungsfeld, welches sich mit der Einschreibung von Werten in Technologien und Artefakte im Allgemeinen und in Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien im Besonderen beschäftigt. In diesem Artikel wird ›Values in Design‹ als übergeordneter Begriff verwendet, unter welchen sich verschiedene Strömungen und Ansätze, wie z. B. value sensitive design (Friedman/ Kahn/Borning 2006), values at play (Flanagan/Howe/ Nissenbaum 2008), oder die enthüllende Computerethik (disclosive computer ethics) (Brey 2000, 2010) einordnen lassen.
