Abstract
DSM-IV-TR (2000) categorizes Avoidant, Dependent, and Obsessive—Compulsive Personality Disorders together as Cluster C, the “anxious-fearful” cluster. However, although it is true that these individuals are often anxious and fearful, they differ markedly in their interpersonal behavior and present different challenges in treatment. We will discuss each of these disorders separately.
