Fixed Capital in Sraffa’s Theoretical Scheme

  • Chapter
Essays on the Theory of Joint Production

Abstract

In this essay the analysis of fixed capital in terms of joint production, as proposed by Sraffa and extensively developed by him in the case of ‘constant efficiency’ of machines, will be formalised for the more general case in which the pattern of varying efficiency of machines is not definable in physical terms.
