Conclusion
A laparoscopic technique should be considered for all patients who are undergoing stoma formation because it is usually a simple and straight-forward procedure. Laparoscopic techniques appear to be safe and effective. They allow a thorough evaluation of associated intraabdominal pathology without causing extensive surgical trauma.
