The effect of gravity on an object can be completely canceled out when it experiences "free fall". This Topical Collection aims to highlight the differences of physical and biological phenomena in normal, reduced, and increased gravity. Based on presentations from the ELGRA 2019 symposium held 24 – 27 September 2019 in Granada, Spain.
