Special Issue: FinTech and the common good

This special issue of Digital Finance seeks for original, high-quality papers that address the following, but not limited to, topics: Fintech and Financial inclusion; Crowdfunding / Social lending to increase access to finance and broaden the investor base; Fintech and its social impact (environment, equality, ...); Fintech as enabler of green Finance; The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in sustainable finance/impact investing; Transparency in fintech to allow for a critical assessment of the impact; Risks of machine-based decision making in finance; Ethics and Fintech to prevent a potential new financial crisis; Big data and fintech (increasing privacy, cyber security); Regulation of fintech markets to catalyze societal value creation.
