Earth Observation for Mapping Sustainability

This article collection presents advanced implementations, practical experience, decision making, methods, and tools of Earth observation for mapping sustainability from local to regional and global scales. Mapping sustainability is an essential task for understanding spatial distribution patterns and regional disparities of sustainable development. However, mapping sustainability have been a challenge in practice due to the lack of data, methods, and experience, in the management, effects of policies, infrastructure engineering, local activities and social science.
