This collection presents the selected papers of the 12th Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Aerospace Technology (APISAT2021), which was held on Nov. 15th - 17th, 2021, at Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, located in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea. APISAT has been the primer symposium and network for advancing the aerospace sciences and technologies in the Asia-Pacific region since its first inception in 2008 by the national aerospace societies of Korea (KSAS), Japan (JSASS), China (CSAA), and Australia (RAeS Australian Division). While the papers in this issue may not be a comprehensive collection of the work in the aerospace engineering in Asia-Pacific region, they provide an insight into the current research trend.
