Hemanshu Prabhakar, MD, PhD, FSNCC(Hon)
Dr Hemanshu Prabhakar is a Professor at the Department of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He received his training in neuroanesthesia and completed his PhD in the same institute. He is the first Indian to be awarded the degree of PhD Neuroanesthesia in the country. He is a recipient of the AIIMS Excellence Award for his notable contribution to academia and has published over 350 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He is the current President of the Society of Neurocritical Care. -
Gentle Shrestha, MD, FNCS, FSNCC(Hon), FRCP Edin
Dr. Shrestha is the neurointensivist at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, a tertiary level teaching hospital at Kathmandu, Nepal, and an Associate Professor in Department of Critical Care Medicine. After completing MD in Anesthesiology, he completed fellowship in Neurocritical care from University of Toronto. He is the immediate past chair of the Asian Oceanic chapter of Neurocritical Care Society (US), director for examinations for Nepalese Institute of Critical Care Medicine, and the executive editor of Journal of Nepalese Society of Critical Care Medicine and an International advisor for Bangladesh Critical Care Journal.
