Materials Science: Materials for Advanced Infrastructure at Different Scales: Fundamental and Scientific Perspectives

This topical collection aims to gather works that deal with materials for advanced infrastructure at different scales. In particular, we aim to collect studies on particle size from biomaterials, different material scales in geotechnical engineering, utilizing green and renewable materials (from scaled particles), different particle materials employed in infrastructure and construction engineering, the application of particle sizes as binder in pavement engineering, and various particle sizes of materials for sustainable infrastructure. Articles originating from both industry and academia are encouraged for submission. We invite discussions and research contributions addressing normative restrictions, exploring implementation in codes and standards, and elucidating challenges associated with the application of scaled materials.
