The Epistemology of Ernest Sosa

Participating journal: Asian Journal of Philosophy

Ernest Sosa is among the most influential epistemologists working today, and his development of virtue epistemology over the past four decades -- and most recently in his 2021 Epistemic Explanations -- has had an enormous impact on contemporary analytic epistemology, including but not limited to, on issues related to knowledge, epistemic normativity, virtue, scepticism, competence, circularity, and suspension of judgment. This topical collection invites papers that engage with Sosa's epistemology, and the themes raised by it.
