Location information is essential for many applications such as location-based services, smart routing, emergency response and urban planning. Location data types vary and have different characteristics.
This special issue will focus on the “analysis” part of the Journal’s title, where special attention is given to innovative analysis methods and applications for location data. The special Issue is open for contributions related but not limited to the following topics:
GNSS seamless positioning technology for smart city Global precise positioning technology in degraded environment Indoor mobile mapping Indoor/outdoor seamless positioning based on multiple sensors Seamless location technology of surface/underground based on multiple sensors Indoor modeling and visual reality, Spatial relations for LBS in the era of big geospatial data, Emergency location technologyLocation based service.
