Special Issue: New Trends in Intelligent Group Decision Making and Consensus Modelling

Participating journal: Group Decision and Negotiation

Group decision making is a process in which at least two experts work together to achieve a solution for a predefined decision-making problem. In today’s digital economy era, with the rapid development of ICT and new decision paradigms, such as web 2.0, mobile internet, social network and e-democracy, the decision environments are becoming increasingly complex. In such group decision contexts, it has also become a challenge for experts to reach consensus. As a result, intelligent group decision making and consensus models driven a machine learning, data science and/or artificial intelligence methodologies can provide new tools/approaches to deal with such complex group decision making problems. Indeed, recently these approaches have attracted wide interest from academic, researchers and practitioners in different fields, such as management sciences, operations research, computer science and engineering.

Submissions presenting fundamental and/or applied research on (but not limited to) the following topics are encouraged:

• Computational intelligence-based group decision making

• Data-driven group decision making

• Preference learning in group decision making

• Consensus modelling in group decision making

• Opinion dynamics and social network-based consensus modelling

• Behavior management in consensus modelling

• Disruptive decision making systems

• Decision support systems and software for intelligent group decision making and consensus modelling

• Information fusion in intelligent group decision making

• Real-world applications of intelligent group decision making and consensus modelling in different fields, such as healthcare, finance, transportation and digital transformation
