The special issue features contributions of the biannual conference "Applied Harmonic Analysis and Friends'' 2022 that will take place in Strobl, Austria, June 19 - 25, 2022. This is the ninth conference on harmonic analysis in Strobl in 20 years. The issue will celebrate the conference series with high level contributions by its participants.
Submissions are not limited to conference participants, strong papers on topics covered by the conference will also be considered. The conference will honor Hans G. Feichtinger's 70th birthday. Contributions devoted to Hans Feichtinger and contributions in the spirit of his mathematics are especially welcome.
