Extreme Electronic and Energy Device

Research in electronic and energy devices is very promising. Fuelled by the rapidly evolving advances in materials, computing methods, and micro-/nano- fabrications, it is becoming a revolutionary technology to change the way of human life. Many demonstrated functionalities and device prototypes in these fields are still very preliminary and are mostly limited to laboratory research. For practical applications, excellent performance, stability, reliability, and survivability in complex and extreme environments and conditions are in high demand but challenging. The special issue is open to researchers interested in submitting original articles in the field of Extreme Electronic and Energy Devices. We hope that this special issue will provide a collection of research or review articles addressing original, significant and cutting-edge researches related to recent advances in extreme electronic and energy devices and their applications in frontier areas of science. Topics covered include, but are not limited to (1) High-temperature-resistant electronic and energy materials and devices; (2) Low-temperature-resistant electronic and energy materials and devices; (3) Extreme materials and devices for energy storage and conversion; (4) Extreme flexible and stretchable electronics; (5) Extreme mechanical designs for electronic and energy devices; (6) Extreme fabrications for electronic and energy devices.
