Focus on healthcare and non-communicable disease in migrants

Articles belonging to this collection addresses the health of a stably growing proportion of people coming to Europe from foreign countries. As a consequence of different factors, an increase of non-communicable diseases is being observed in minority groups living in Europe. European countries need to be prepared by the implementation of scientific and cultural training of health workers, collection of sound data and development of culturally adapted preventive health policies.
