Applications of Laser and Imaging Techniques to Fluid Mechanics 2024

Participating journal: Experiments in Fluids
This Topical Collection provided a forum to promote the interchange of new ideas about the development of advanced techniques for flow measurement and on the latest applications in the field. More recently, the intertwining of imaging devices and image acquisition techniques has been central to the continuous development of time-resolved laser imaging techniques that permit the accurate measurement of whole, instantaneous fields and vectors. In this context, the Topical Collection also welcomes submissions related to advanced imaging techniques and processing methods that can facilitate new insights into the complex thermofluid-dynamic phenomena, even though not based on laser light sources, such as ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging.
