    Gregorio Paolo Milani, MD, University of Milan, Italy

    Dr. Gregorio P. Milani, MD, serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Milan and as pediatrician at Fondazione Ca’ Granda, Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan. He excelled at the University of Milan Medical School and completed Pediatrics training there. With research experience in Amsterdam and Switzerland, he holds dual master's degrees in medical biostatistics from the University of Padua. Dr. Milani secures research grants, publishes on pediatric emergency medicine, mentors students, and serves as an Editor at the European Journal of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Jaan Toelen is a professor at the Dept of Development and Regeneration at KU Leuven, a staff member of the dept of Pediatrics and the co-director of the KU Leuven Child and Youth Inst.. He has a PhD in molecular virology, his research interests include a translational part on perinatal lung development and a clinical part on the ethical aspects of medical decision making in minors. His clinical expertise includes adolescent medicine, psychosomatic disorders, eating disorders and child abuse and neglect. He enjoys teaching, mentoring clinical and research assistants and is a member of the Advisory Board of European Journal of Pediatrics.
