Abstract
I started my career as a firefighter as a volunteer in a small fire department. My father was a firefighter and I joined because I wanted to be a part of the comradery and to help others. I also wanted to be a part of the solution when bad things happened. Currently, I am a firefighter and paramedic for College Station Fire Department in Texas and have been in that position for the past six years.
