Abstract
The four competences of the Intercultural Readiness approach fit together to form an integral picture of a person’s strengths, weaknesses, and developmental needs in their ability to deal with other cultures. The competences reflect an idealized sequence of stages in a process of intercultural interaction whereby two or more people from different cultures interact with each other to attain a certain goal.
