Abstract

The concept of green finance has penetrated into the investment evaluation of enterprise value in recent years. In this paper, the author analyses the impact of one of the indicators, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) score, on enterprise value. The empirical analysis method of internal ESG score and panel data is used to measure the relationship between ESG score and enterprise investment value in different regions. This paper mainly uses STATA16.0 software for empirical analysis. It is found that in regions with rapid economic development, ESG disclosure can affect the evaluation of enterprise value more. This proves that the effective and accurate disclosure of ESG data can provide reference for enterprises in terms of investment and drive the optimization of enterprise development and operation.
