Abstract
Information security is a vital tool for protecting the confidentiality and integrity of digital information. In this paper, we consider different image encryption techniques based on advanced encryption standard (AES), chaotic system, RSA, elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), data encryption standard (DES), and hybrid encryption schemes. Further, the discriminative capability of each encryption scheme is then examined. Various security analyzes were also considered to show the effectiveness of the respective models proposed by different researchers.
