Abstract
In 1978, Bruce Butler attended two queues to see David Bowie perform at the MCG: one for tickets and a second to enter the venue. These photographs taken at the time (including at the show itself) are a moment in time not only for Melbourne’s counterculture but also in the emergence of the band The Ears.
