Abstract
Installation of ATP equipment on engineering vehicles in urban rail transit is currently in a preparatory application phase in China. Based on project design experience, this paper introduces a technical scheme of installing ATP equipment on urban rail transit engineering vehicles. It describes ATP equipment configuration of engineering vehicles, and specific to features of engineering vehicles, presents functions and driving modes that can be achieved by the signaling system, and details principles of performance parameter selection and its impact analysis of CBTC engineering vehicles and passenger trains in data design of the signaling system. The design scheme may offer reference for signaling system design of practical ATP equipment for engineering vehicles in urban rail transit.
