Abstract
Maintaining the off-grid supply is used for renewable and fossil fuel-based energy systems as individually and hybrid forms. Among all sustainable power sources, biomass (ligneous, herbaceous harvests, farming, and civil squanders) is the biggest, most various, and most promptly accessible asset for vitality. All India installed capacity of electric power generating stations under utilities was reported at 123,901 MW as on January 31, 2006, of which contributions of hydro, thermal, nuclear, and renewable sectors were 26.0%, 66.4%, 2.7%, and 4.9%, respectively. A hybrid system of 370 kW is proposed in this paper for testing on HOMER software for different values of CSP.
